I had been looking forward to being a Manchester Monastery wedding photographer ever since the restoration to this famous landmark building had been completed. The Monastery’s decline is well documented and with the building falling into disuse some twenty years ago it became the target of thieves and tinkers. That was then and this is now. The Monastery has been transformed into a unique and very special wedding venue that also caters for conferences, meetings and formal dinners of all sizes.
Cheryl and Paul chose me to be their Manchester Monastery wedding photographer after seeing my website and loving my blend of natural and informal photography. My prayers for good weather were answered, and when I arrived at her mother’s house for the getting ready pictures I was happy to find that Cheryl was as bubbly as ever, so looking forward to the big day ahead. This was going to be a great day!
Everything worked out beautifully, Cheryl and Paul looked gorgeous, the Bridesmaids lovely, the architecture stunning, and everyone had a fantastic time. This will be a Featured Wedding on my website in the months to come. I just loved the theatrical lighting and under-lit dance floor in the evening. See the first Dance pictures and Michael Jackson making a rave return from the grave to start off the evening’s entertainment!
