Check out my four page featured wedding “Romance & Roses” starting on page 39 of this month’s Your Manchester Wedding magazine.  I photographed Cheryl and Paul’s wedding at The Monastery at the end of May 2011.  Here’s what they had to say about me:

“We loved Tom straight away.  It was important for us to connect with our photographer.  Because we weren’t having our wedding filmed, the pictures were really important to us.  He reminded me very much of a family member and we warmed to him quickly.  We also liked Tom’s enthusiasm for The Monastery.  His pictures are beautiful and his album design is spectacular.  He is more than a photographer, he is an artist, and this has been noted by everybody who has seen our wedding album.”

Isn’t that lovely!  Kind words indeed!  You can see more pictures from Cheryl and Paul’s wedding by clicking here which will take you directly to their blog page.

Manchester Monastery wedding photography │ Cheryl and Paul

I had been looking forward to being a Manchester Monastery wedding photographer ever since the restoration to this famous landmark building had been completed.  The Monastery’s decline is well documented and with the building falling into disuse some twenty years ago it became the target of thieves and tinkers.  That was then and this is now.  The Monastery has been transformed into a unique and very special wedding venue that also caters for conferences, meetings and formal dinners of all sizes.

Cheryl and Paul chose me to be their Manchester Monastery wedding photographer after seeing my website and loving my blend of natural and informal photography.  My prayers for good weather were answered, and when I arrived at her mother’s house for the getting ready pictures I was happy to find that Cheryl was as bubbly as ever, so looking forward to the big day ahead.  This was going to be a great day!
